Pav-R Clean
Description and Use:
Pav-R Clean is an acid based cleaner that will safely remove light calcite deposits and efflorescence. This product will work on pavers, retaining walls, and decorative colored block. The cause of the problem on the surface should be identified to prevent reoccurrence where possible.
Advantages:
*Power penetration and color enhancement.
Limitations:
*May mark if used repeatedly straight.

Preparation:
*Protect:
Test and protect adjacent and surrounding surfaces not intended to be cleaned from exposure to the cleaning solution.
*Surface & Air Temperatures:
Best cleaning results are obtained when air temperatures are 40° Fahrenheit or above.
*Pre-Testing:
Always test prior to beginning full-scale cleaning operations. Testing should confirm cleaning effectiveness on each type of surface and stain designated to be cleaned. Test also to determine the desired surface contact time and any potential for adverse reactions with adjacent materials. Allow test panels to dry thoroughly before evaluating final appearance and results.
Directions:
On Pavers:
For removal of light efflorescence or haze from the surface. Dilute the Pav-R Clean with 4 parts water and spray onto the surface. Try to do this out of direct sun to allow 10 minute dwell time. Rinse the product off with a garden hose or pressure washer. Heavier deposit may require using the product undiluted and applied twice without rinsing between.
On Block Walls:
For light efflorescence use as above.
For heavy dimensional deposits referred to as calcite use a trigger sprayer to apply the undiluted Pav-R Clean. It will foam like shaving cream. After the foam collapses totally, apply a 4:1 dilution of NMD 80 with another sprayer. Allow 15 minute dwell time and scrub with a stiff bristled brush. Dilute the NMD 80 with 4 parts water and finish the cleaning operation with repeated spraying until it no longer foams on the surface, then rinse with a garden hose.
Colored sensitive surfaces require the use of Ef-fortless as the final clean instead of NMD 80.
Dilutions:
Pav-R Cleaner should be used straight.
NMD 80 should be cut 4:1.
Ef-fortless should not be cut.
