Concrete Remover

Description and Use:
CT Wash is designed to remove of light to medium build-up of excess concrete from concrete mixer trucks and construction equipment. For heavy build-up removal use CT Presoak Gel as a first step application to soften heavy excess concrete. CT Wash would be applied as the second step which breaks the bond between the softened concrete and the surface. The product may require extended dwell times depending on the severity of the excess build-up.

Preparation:
Test and protect adjacent and surrounding surfaces not intended to be cleaned from exposure to the cleaning solution.

*Surface & Air Temperatures:
Best cleaning results are obtained when air temperatures are 40° Fahrenheit or above.

*Pre-Testing:
Always test prior to beginning full-scale cleaning operations. Testing should confirm cleaning effectiveness on each type of surface and stain designated to be cleaned. Test also to determine the desired surface contact time and any potential for adverse reactions with adjacent materials. Allow test panels to dry thoroughly before evaluating final appearance and results.

Dilutions:
-Straight up to 4:1 dilution 
-10:1 to 20:1 (12 oz. or 6 oz. per gallon) low pressure application for concrete cleaning.
-5:1 to 10:1 for stain removal from concrete.

Application Instructions:
Apply CT Wash with a sprayer or conventional brushing.  Allow 5 -10 minute dwell time. Apply again, let stand for another 5-10 minutes then pressure rinse off thoroughly. After removing as much excess concrete as possible and some areas of heavy build-up remain, use CT Presoak Gel as the first step application then follow with CT Wash. CT Wash should not be used as a regular truck cleaner, but may be used on occasion to remove cement dust and splatter. Always rinse thoroughly.

Safety Information
*Precautionary Measures:
Always wear goggles and rubber gloves when handling this product. Keep off of skin and clothing. If material comes in contact with clothing, wash before re-use.  Contains Hydrochloric Acid. Do not dilute CT Wash with any other product except water. Do not use for any other applications other than specified. Do not remove label.  Read Material Safety Data Sheet for additional safety and health hazard information prior to use.  Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing fumes. Keep container closed when not in use. Use with adequate ventilation. Applicators should wear rain suit of plastic, rubber or PVC, boots and gloves, face shields and/or goggles to avoid splash to bare skin or eyes. Use a MIOSH/MSHA approved respiration for use with acids if adequate ventilation is unavailable. Though the potential for fuming from CT Wash is minimal, take precautions to avoid exposing building occupants to fumes. Dispose of empty containers according to federal, state, and local requirements. Avoid drifting of material or rinse water onto autos and pedestrians by protecting or diverting such traffic.

*First Aid +
Instructions in Case of Contact or Exposure Skin & Eye Contact:
Eyes: Flood with water 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
Skin: Wash off with soap and water. If irritation persists, call physician.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If irritation persists, call physician.
Ingestion: Drink lots of water. Seek immediate medical attention.

Spill or Leak Procedures:
Waste Disposal Method: Check state, local or federal regulations for your area. Steps to be taken if material is released or spilled: Large spill; dike and contain for intended use. Small spill; absorb on oil dry and place in approved container for disposal.

Container Handling/Storage:
Store in a cool dry place. Vent bung before opening. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Do not use pressure to empty container. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not use container as dilution or rinsing vessel. Do not cut, grind or weld on or near container. Empty containers retain residue and vapors and must be handled as if full.
