ACID BURNS, Glazed Brick Burn Restore is a completely safe and easy to use repair system for covering the white burn of shiny damage done to the surface of smooth glazed brick by different acids. Roll, brush or spray the product, undiluted where damage has been done and allow the product to dry on the surface. This product can be removed with a hot pressure washer. Burn Restore will not work for porous brick or block. ^TOP |
ACRYLIC REMOVAL, EIFS
Coatings Stripsol will remove multiple layers of acrylics, latexes, acrylic latexes, alkyds, certain enamels, oil-based stains, polyurethanes and other resin coatings. This stripper is not flammable, has very little odor, does not burn the skin and does little to no damage on most substrates. Always test the product in an inconspicuous area before starting the job. ^TOP |

ALUMINUM TRIM, Architectural To clean aluminum trim, use SafeRestore undiluted. Instead of brushing, use a double application without rinsing in between each application. Finish with a pressure wash rinse. ^TOP |
ANODIZED ALUMINUM, Cleaning SafeRestore will safely clean anodized aluminum and will not etch glass. Its best functions are to remove existing oxidation and provide surface resistance to new oxidation. This cleaner is capable of removing pollution and many sealers as well, but will not remove the pits that occur from neglect. ^TOP |

ANODIZED
ALUMINUM, Restoration After cleaning with SafeRestore, follow up with an application of Anodized Restoration Treatment (A.R.T.) to restore the surface to a "like new" appearance. The product should be applied straight to a clean, dry surface and allowed to air dry. ^TOP |
ARTILLERY FUNGUS Use SafeRestore straight. Spray on two applications without rinsing between applications and finish by rinsing with a hose or pressure washer. ^TOP |
ASPHALT REMOVAL May be accomplished with a solvent such as C-TAR Melt or a special water-based cleaner such as SafeRestore which is much less likely to leave a shadow. Use both undiluted. ^TOP |
For S-Type Mortar: Apply NMD80 using a 3:1 dilution. Repeat application at least twice before rinsing. ^TOP |

CLAY STAINS, Removal SafeRestore is recommended for clay stain removal. Apply with a low pressure sprayer at a 4:1 dilution. Finish with a pressure washer rinse. ^TOP |

COATING REMOVAL Due to the wide variety of coatings currently in use, we recommend a coating removal test kit to determine which product is the best for removing a particular coating. In addition, you may also refer to our website which lists several recommendations for removing more commonly found coatings. ^TOP |
CONCRETE, Tilt-up, new On the job site, NMD80 can be used to clean tilt-up concrete very effectively. The dilution range will vary according to the desired surface finish and should be between 15:1 to 30:1. If the goal is to etch the tilt-up at the plant, a stronger concentration should be used, although the actual dilution rate will be determined by the desired degree of etch. A high volume downstream nozzle capable of 4:1 may be appropriate for application. Follow with an application of NMD80 which will ensure an even, finished appearance without streaks. Very tall structures should be cleaned one entire section at a time, working from the top down. Additionally, SafeRestore is excellent for removing bond breaker from tilt-up. ^TOP |
CONCRETE, Stain removal SafeRestore remains the best option for removing metal and mineral oxide stains including rust, lead and copper. For oil stains, use Heavy Duty Degreaser and apply straight with a low pressure sprayer. The stains will also benefit from a brushing after application. This will drive the degreaser deeper into the pores of the concrete and allow it to lift out any shadows. Glazed Surface Restoration (GSR) is the the most economical solution for large concrete structures such as parking garages which may have numerous oil stains. Apply GSR up to 20:1 and finish with a high pressure rinse. ^TOP |

COPPER STAINS Use SafeRestore undiluted. A copper stain may show up as blue, green or black depending on the elements it reacts with to cause the stain. Generally, an undiluted application repeated twice before rinsing, will remove the stain. ^TOP |

EFFLORESCENCE, Colored
block EF-Fortless will remove efflorescence from colored block and mortar without causing color bleed. For harder calcite-type efflorescence, a pretreatment may be necessary. See “Efflorescence, Calcite” for more information. Spray the product on straight and finish with a pressure wash rinse. ^TOP |

EFFLORESCENCE, Calcite and Lime Putty Calcite Presoak followed by EF-Fortless or NMD80 will remove calcite on colored block, brick and stone. See literature or website for further instructions. ^TOP |

EFFLORESCENCE, Pavers Use Pav-R Clean straight to 4:1. On pavers, Pav-R Clean is excellent at removing light efflorescence. For block walls, Pav-R Clean is equally effective on light efflorescence although heavier deposits may be calcite (see“Efflorescence Calcite”). ^TOP |

EFFLORESCENCE, White scum Use White Scum Presoak to remove white scum on brick or block. Apply GSR straight twice without allowing it to dry or rinsing in between applications. Follow with a pressure washer rinse. For particularly hard stains, additional applications may be necessary. ^TOP |

EIFS, Cleaning pollution stains In one application, SafeRestore easily removes stains caused by hydrocarbons such as traffic exhaust as well as biological stains like mildew. It contains no bleach. The best application is straight. SafeRestore can be applied with a low pressure sprayer. Use two applications several minutes apart without allowing the product to dry or rinsing between applications. Cleansol at 4:1 to 10:1 dilutions also works very well on EIFS for all but mildew. ^TOP |

GLASS SafeRestore is great on glass. It will remove atmospheric staining, concrete leachate, silicate soap stains, paint wash stains and many sealers safely, quickly and easily. Generally, one application of undiluted SafeRestore, misted or wiped, then rinsed, will remove these stains. ^TOP |

GRAFFITI, Limestone, block, brick and
sandstone LCS is a water-based stripper that has a wide range of applications and is best suited for porous surfaces such as block, brick and sandstone. It can be applied undiluted using a low pressure sprayer. Allow the LCS to remain on the surface for 15 minutes and finish with a pressure wash rinse. Stripper Cream is recommended for the removal of graffiti on limestone because it will not change the color of the stone or damage its structural quality. Rinse with a pressure washer. The stripper may be rolled or brushed on to help it penetrate deep into the pores of the stone. For large areas, spraying would be beneficial. ^TOP |

GRAFFITI, Painted
surface Graf-Ex is a special purpose stripper designed for safety and low odor. It is an outstanding performer in the removal of inks and paints from painted surfaces and works great on adhesives. Water can be used to stop its penetration and to rinse. Graf-Ex is not dilutable. Use it straight and apply with either a low pressure sprayer or wipe it with a cloth and finish with a rinse. ^TOP |

GRANITE SafeRestore will remove most all stains found on the surface. Undiluted, SafeRestore may be applied with a simple “spray on/spray off” application. Glazed Surface Restoration (GSR) may be applied at dilutions ranging up to 20:1, depending on the type of soil staining. There are no special cautions for SafeRestore or GSR on granite. ^TOP |

GUM
SHADOWS, From concrete Gum shadows can be removed after pretreating the surface with SafeRestore. The best application rate is straight. SafeRestore can be applied with a low pressure applicator and should be left on for 5- to 15-minutes. Finish with high pressure rinse. ^TOP |
GUTTERS Gutters can be cleaned with Cleansol BC at 4:1, then applied twice, or use SafeRestore undiluted. ^TOP |
LIMESTONE, Black crust Stripper Cream will remove black crust from limestone efficiently. Prewet the surface and apply undiluted by roller or spray using adequate thickness. The product may be diluted up to 4:1 for mineral stains that are not dimensional. Rinse with a pressure washer, being careful not to harm the surface. ^TOP |

LIMESTONE, Deep
stains For removal of deep mildew stains, a wet-on-wet double application of SafeRestore may be necessary. Do not rinse in between applications. In extreme cases this may need to be repeated. Finish with a pressure wash rinse. ^TOP |

LIMESTONE, Indiana
and Travertine The most common type of limestone is Indiana limestone that is used to face or trim buildings. SafeRestore is completely safe to use on this stone. If the stone has been well maintained and only mild mildew staining has occurred, one application should be sufficient. Prewet the stone then spray on SafeRestore (for deep mildew staining, see “Limestone, deep stains.”) ^TOP |

LIMESTONE, Rust and
copper stains SafeRestore undiluted wet-on-wet application. Allow it to dwell on the surface at least 10 minutes and rinse. ^TOP |
MARBLE, Unpolished Use SafeRestore to clean unpolished marble at dilutions from straight to 10:1 and apply with a low pressure sprayer. Rinse with a pressure washer. ^TOP |
MARBLE, Polished Polished Stone Cleaner Neutral cleans polished marble easily. Apply undiluted product with a low pressure sprayer. Remove with a high pressure rinse or by wiping with a damp cloth. ^TOP |
MILDEW, From houses, decks, and roofs Mildew on homes can be treated with a “spray on/spray off” application of SafeRestore. There is no danger to the home or plants when used as directed. You can expect a longer residual kill than with bleach. On wood, higher dilutions of the product restores a “like new” appearance to the wood without fuzzing or damage. ^TOP |

PAINT, Wash on
brick Glazed Surface Restoration (GSR) or straight SafeRestore will remove paint wash from brick. Apply the GSR straight to 10:1 dilution with a low pressure sprayer. Rinse with a high pressure wash or a garden hose. ^TOP |

PAINT STRIPPING, Multilayer Stripper Cream is effective for removing multiple layers of paint. It can be sprayed, rolled or brushed with equal ease. The product will not dry out. When applied straight, a skin will form allowing the paint to be scraped off mostly intact or it can be removed with a high pressure wash. ^TOP |

PAINT STRIPPING, Latex LCS or Stripper Cream can be used for stripping latex paint. Apply straight to 5:1. LCS can be sprayed on then rinsed with a pressure wash. ^TOP |

RUST
STAINS, Concrete SafeRestore is the first choice to remove stains without bleaching. Glazed Surface Restoration (GSR) will also remove rust stains from concrete. Apply the product at a dilution range of 4:1 to 10:1 with a low pressure sprayer and rinse with a high pressure washer. ^TOP |
RUST STAINS, Limestone and steel SafeRestore will melt rust stains quickly and help prevent re-oxidation. The best application rate is straight. SafeRestore can be applied with a low pressure applicator. The best use of the product is two applications several minutes apart without allowing the product to dry or rinsing between each application. ^TOP |
SEALANT
STAINS SafeRestore is an excellent treatment for sealant stains. Apply straight with a low pressure sprayer and follow with a high pressure rinse. ^TOP |

SLATE To clean normal soil on slate, use Cleansol BC. For more difficult stains such as water hardness and metal or mineral oxides, use SafeRestore. Apply straight with a low pressure sprayer or at dilutions up to 4:1. Rinse with a garden hose or pressure washer. ^TOP |
SMOKE
REMOVAL Smoke Melt is a high alkaline cleaning product that will remove heavy carbon deposits from wood or masonry and will soften heavy black smoke from fire damage on masonry. Use at dilutions of 4:1 to 50:1. See label for further application instructions. For interior removal of smoke from stone on fireplace surrounds, SafeRestore is highly effective. ^TOP |

STAINLESS HD Sabre cleans stainless steel very well. It also helps prevent future corrosion. Use a low pressure sprayer or downstream at dilutions of 30:1 to 60:1, then use a high pressure rinse. Do not use straight or let dry on the surface. It may be followed by an application of Cleansol diluted 10:1. ^TOP |
TAR
REMOVAL C-Tar Melt will penetrate and soften tar. The product is not dilutable with water. It is safe for wood, metal and masonry surfaces. If a shadow remains in masonry, use Stripper Cream to remove it. In addition, SafeRestore can be used to remove fresh tar stains on brick or block that my have occurred during roof repair. TEFLON
PANELS SafeRestore is excellent for cleaning teflon panels. The best application range is straight or 4:1. SafeRestore is best applied with a low pressure applicator. TERRA
COTTA Glazed Surface Restoration (GSR) or SafeRestore are both good options for terra cotta restoration. The best application rate is straight. STEM REMOVAL Use Stripper Cream cut 2:1. Roll it on and allow it to dwell until all stems release. Finish with a pressure wash rinse. ^TOP |
