Preparation

General Preparation
Protect adjacent and surrounding surfaces not intended to be stripped. Cover foliage with polyethylene or other proven protective material.

Surface and Air Temperatures
Excessively high or low temperatures will produce poor results and possible harm. Best cleaning results are obtained when air and surface temperatures are 40째 Fahrenheit or above. Do not clean when temperatures are below freezing or will be overnight. If freezing conditions exist, allow adequate time for surface to thaw. If air temperatures exceed 90째 Fahrenheit , flash cool the surface with water before applying product. Do not allow product to dry on a hot surface.

Pre-Testing
Always test prior to beginning full-scale cleaning operations. Testing should confirm stripping ability on each type of surface. Test also to determine the desired surface contact time and any potential for adverse reactions with adjacent materials. Allow test panels to dry thoroughly before evaluating final appearance and results.

Suitable Substrates
Wood, metals and masonry surfaces

Dilutions
Use undiluted (straight)

Application

General Application

Application equipment should be solvent compatible.
Always start by doing a test patch to determine proper dwell time to achieve desired results.
Brush or roll product onto the surface to be stripped.
Wait the appropriate time, then wipe off or remove completely with water.

Note: On textured surfaces, a second coat may need to be applied with a brush. Rinse completely. When stripping pain from thin wood veneer a long dwell time may loosen the bonding adhesive.

Coverage Rates
Coverage rates will vary from 25 - 100 sq. ft. per gallon depending on the thickness of the application.
