Non-Hydrofluoric Restoration Detergent


GS-Restoration (GSR) is an ammonium bifluoride masonry restoration detergent. GSR is designed to be used on hard-faced bricks and concrete where HF is likely to burn the surface. This acid blend is effective at removing the black mineral oxide stains. GSR removes rust and brown, yellow, or black stains that occur under the eaves on aluminum siding.

Spray-on / Spray-off process increases productivity and profit.
More effective than HF at removing black mineral stains on glazed surfaces.
Much safer to people and plants than hydrofluoric acid.

May mark anodized aluminum and glass, precautions should be taken.

Surface & Air Temperatures


Protect anodized aluminum and foliage with polyethylene or other proven protective material. Careful of wind drift on surrounding surfaces such as auto and pedestrian traffic. Generally glass does not need to be covered if rinsed quickly. If glass has painted aluminum frames surrounding it, a test should be done.

Surface and Air Temperatures
Avoid damage to masonry surfaces. Do not clean when temperatures are below freezing or are expected to be below freezing the night before cleaning. If freezing conditions exist prior to application, allow adequate time for masonry surfaces to thaw. Best cleaning results are obtained when air and surface temperatures are 40º Fahrenheit or above.

Always test prior to beginning full-scale cleaning operations. Testing should confirm cleaning effectiveness on each type of surface and stain designated to be removed. Also test to determine the desired surface contact time and any potential for adverse reactions with adjacent materials. Allow test panels to dry thoroughly before evaluating final appearance and results.

Range ( 1:1 up to 10:1 ) is the application range for restoration work. The product can be used straight for oil spot removal on concrete surfaces. There may be danger of burning surfaces if used repeatedly straight. Use ( 8:1 to 20:1 ) for lane cleaning or sidewalk cleaning without heavy oil stains. Note: Dilutions will vary based on application and the particular type of surface.
