Preparation

General Preparation
Protect anodized aluminum and foliage with polyethylene or other proven protective material. Avoid wind drift on surrounding surfaces such as auto and pedestrian traffic. Generally glass does not need to be covered if rinsed quickly. Test any painted aluminum frames.

Surface and Air Temperatures
Excessively high or low temperatures will produce poor results and possible harm. Best cleaning results are obtained when air and surface temperatures are 40째 Fahrenheit or above. Do not clean when temperatures are below freezing or will be overnight. If freezing conditions exist, allow adequate time for surface to thaw. If air temperatures exceed 90째 Fahrenheit, flash cool the surface with water before applying product. Do not allow products to dry on the surface. Always rinse thoroughly while still wet.

Pre-Testing
Always test prior to beginning full-scale cleaning operations. Testing should confirm cleaning effectiveness on each type of surface and stain designated to be removed. Testing also determines the desired dwell time and any potential for adverse reactions with adjacent materials. Allow test panels to dry thoroughly before evaluating final appearance and results.

Dilutions
Use undiluted (straight)

Application

General Application
Apply product undiluted with a brush or low pressure sprayer, then brush into the surface using a stiff bristled broom. Oil stains on concrete benefit from a brushing after application. Increased dwell time drives the degreaser into the pores and lifts the shadows. Allow a fifteen minute minimum dwell time on the surface, then rinse off. If a repeat application is needed, allow the surface to dry before reapplying. For exhaust hoods, apply product undiluted with a brush. Allow for a fifteen minute minimum dwell time, then rinse off thoroughly.

Note: Stir very thoroughly before every job.

Coverage Rates
Coverage rates will vary from 100 - 250 sq. ft. per gallon depending on the surface porosity, texture and severity of staining.
